New pallets are built from virgin lumber with no prior use. Recycled pallets (Grade A or B) have been previously used, inspected, and repaired where needed. Grade A recycled pallets have minimal wear, while Grade B may show more signs of use but remain structurally sound.
Only for international shipping. ISPM 15 heat treatment is required for export β pallets are heated to 132Β°F for 30 minutes to eliminate pests. For domestic shipments within the US, standard pallets work fine.
2-way pallets can be accessed by a forklift from two sides. 4-way pallets allow entry from all four sides, which is more versatile in tight warehouse environments. Most customers choose 4-way.
Single stringer is standard for most applications up to 2,500 lbs. Double stringer adds reinforcement for heavier loads or racking systems β recommended for 3,000+ lbs.
